Basketball!
Parker's love for sports has somewhat worn off on me, especially basketball. I've always liked basketball but this year with BYU's winning team, including the great Jimmer Fredette, I've become more interested than ever. I enjoyed attending the BYU games, and keeping up with college basketball. Parker watched quite a bit of Sports Center so I overheard a lot of it, and decided to fill out a bracket this year. I'm pretty excited about it, especially because I'm doing fairly well so far, and we're only a day and a half in to the madness! :) Parker even printed out a big poster to put in our living room to keep track of brackets.
I know it's tiny to see, but Parker's picks are in blue and mine are in red. I made my picks before Parker did, and as we were talking about them the next day he told me he had BYU going the whole way. I laughed a little about it (although I love our team, I honestly don't think they'll win it all) and he told me he was planning on changing them if it wasn't already too late. He was able to change them, and ended up changing so that we have very similar picks, with Pittsburgh going all the way. So, in short, he copied me, not the other way around, thankyouverymuch.
Here we are the the BYU vs. U of U game (which we won, of course). It's so fun to see the Marriot center packed to capacity! What's not so fun is when it get's packed before we get in and get turned away! (Since we have student passes, if we aren't one of the first 5000 students in, we don't get in. This, unfortunately, happened at the last game we tried to attend.)

Prego Pics
My dear friend, Caitlin, requested that I post pictures of my "cute pregnant self." Well, I don't really think I'm looking so cute these days, but I have been taking pictures periodically, so... here they are!
The above picture was taken about three weeks ago when I was 20 weeks along, and the picture below is me at 23 weeks.
I promise I have other clothes than that grey skirt, but they don't fit so well anymore. I get to wear a skirt/dress 5 out of 7 days a week, so lets just say this skirt is getting plenty of use since it's the most comfortable one I have. Thanks, Anna! ;)

It's (still) a (big) boy!
Parker and I were able to have our big ultrasound appointment yesterday, and it was awesome!! There really is a baby in me... I saw it. ;) The appointment started out with the usual blood pressure and weight check etc. It was a little shocking to see how much weight I'd gained. Now, I understand that you are supposed to gain weight when you're pregnant, but still, seeing such a huge change in just a month is a little bit scary. I know it wouldn't be healthy to keep up the weight gaining rate I've had this past month.
During the ultrasound the doctor checked everything out (his brain, heart, limbs, etc.) to make sure baby was looking healthy and normal, which he is. :) As the doctor was measuring his head size, he commented that baby had quite a big head. That's not exactly surprising considering Parker and I don't have small heads either. (We need plenty of room to hold all our brains. :) When the measurements were complete, the Doctor explained that our baby is currently in the 92nd percentile for size. It was really amazing to see our little baby. He even waved to us during the ultrasound too. It was awesome to see him move around. Parker really couldn't get enough of it. He was loving every minute of it... as was I. :) We're approximately 19 weeks away from meeting our little guy in person!
