I Love the Internet!

Ok, so Parker and I live in Middletown, OH in a Motel that smells like cigarette smoke, and has no internet. On the bright side, we have cable TV... and there are trees surrounding us everywhere! I'm still able to stay positive about it all, but when I want to get online, I don't have it right at my fingertips like I'm used to. It's been hard too because I was planning on having internet to work on online classes to help keep me busy while Parker's gone all day. Thanks to Charity and the Franklin Library I've been able to get my fix a couple times. :) So, enough talk, here's some pictures of our latest adventures!

I didn't really get any good pictures while we were in Sun Valley, ID, so as we were driving away I snapped this picture, which doesn't even do justice to one of our favorite places, but we had fun while we were there. We went swimming everyday, played card games together, ate out at delicious restaurants, and had a marvelous time getting spoiled by Parker's grandparents.

After Sun Valley, we went back to Utah for a few days. My mom and sister, Anna, came and we went to Women's Conference together. There were women everywhere (as seen below) and we had a good time.

My mom and Aunt Cindy had a roommate reunion during the conference. They all got together and went out to eat, made chocolate waffle cookies and laughed and talked about their college days together. I tagged along to spend time with my mom and cindy, and they were so fun to listen to! They had some hilarious stories, and it reminded me of my single college days with my roommates...

After the conference, my Aunt Karen and her family came down to visit. Cindy had quite the full house, and we all had a marvelous time! I have such wonderful cousins! Here's Colette with Parker... so cute! :)

Awesome Cousins!

Parker had to go to training for 4 days in Ogden, so I stayed in Sandy with Gram and Papa (Parker's grandparents). I ate wonderfully, but missed Parker. :( We left Sandy at about 3:00 pm and were on our way to Ohio! Parker drove the whole way!

We stopped in Nauvoo along the way! It was great to see so many church history sites!

I

Unfortuately, I have to go, and I haven't even posted all my pictures! To be continued...

We're done... until Fall...

So I haven't been doing any better at picture taking, but now that we've FINISHED FINALS we're working on packing our apartment to move, and pictures of a messy, disorganized apartment just aren't fun. We're planning on moving out on Friday, and spending time with 3 sets of grandparents for about 5 days after that... I'm pretty excited for our mini vacation/family reunion. Plus... my mom is coming next week! It'll be loads of fun... :)

Final Fun...

Parker and I have been busy these days, I just can't remember with what. We've spent time with family, prepared for the summer and moving, and studied for finals. This weekend we went to Mona to visit with family and work to build a chicken coop for my grandparents. We both got a little sunburned... me more than Parker, obviously. We had a fun time working together and then eating a delicious meal together. Parker sure can work hard. He was such a big help. :) We'll be finishing our finals, packing, cleaning, and moving out of our apartment this week... busy busy. Unfortunately I've been a slackerface and don't have any pictures, but hopefully I'll be better this week.

Life Goes On!

Parker and I have been busy as ever. We went to Jazz game with a group of people from Living Scriptures. I'd never been to a professional basketball game before, and it was lots of fun! Four days later Parker and I were on our way to Arizona, and stopped along the way to buy a car. We planned a trip to Arizona, but wanted to have a more gas efficient car for the trip. We were planning on buying a car for the summer and figured it was close enough. We'd heard about this dealer who specializes in Saturns, and long story short, we drove away with a Lazer Blue, 2006 Saturn Ion II, with 26,000 miles. It's a manual, so it's taking some getting used to, but we like it a lot! Arizona was a lot of fun too! We went to the Easter Pagent at the Mesa Temple, ate delicious food (Bahama Rama Mamas from Bahama Bucks are delicious!) watched conference, went to a dollar movie, and watched Bobby play Lacrosse. Now we're back at school trying to finish out the school year and prepare for the summer...

The drive was beautiful! It made me want to go to the Grand Canyon. :)

Parker had a birthday!

Parker is now 23 years old! This is a little late, (his birthday was the 24th, tuesday) but we've had a great time celebrating. I made a special breakfast that morning and then we went about our day (school stuff) then went to dinner with Gram and Papa that evening at a Japanese restaurant (where they make the food right in front of you and flip stuff around) then went over to our friends apartment where we watched a movie, and played games. They're great, and we were there for a while, so it was pretty late when we got home. I suddenly started to feel really sick, so I laid in bed while Parker opened his presents. He was pretty excited. :) The next day we went to dinner with Grandma Hilton at Macaroni Grill (delicious!). Thanks everyone for making Parker's birthday great! Enjoy the pics!

The video is Parker opening his present (it's a little long).

Living Scripture's Weekend

This past weekend we went to Vegas with living scriptures. Friday night we stayed in St. George, then drove the rest of the way to Vegas Saturday morning, stayed in the Luxor, then drove back to Provo on Sunday... We didn't get too many pics, but some highlights of the weekend include...

Eating free Cafe Rio because one was just opening... yum!

Swimming

Walking around the strip... I'd never seen the conservatory (I think that's what it's called...?) at Ceasar's Palace, but it was awesome!

Eating at the Cheesecake Factory

Running back to our hotel (from Ceasars palace to the Luxor) because we were late and running out of time to get to the show. It was crazy, but kinda fun, minus the super hot and sweaty feeling once we got there. :)

Seeing Criss Angel's Believe Cirque du Solei show (weird but entertaining... I don't really know what to say about that... Parker was very perplexed)

Getting stuck in the elevator at the Luxor (only for a few minutes, but it was scary none the less)

Getting to know more of Parker's coworkers... they're great!

We kinda just dumped all our stuff on the bed... but it was a cool room, the wall was slanted and we could see the Mandalay Bay outside our window...
